This 600 km bicycling route forms a fascinating circuit starting from Coimbatore and passing through Karanampatti, Kamanapalayam, Pollachi, Vadakancherry, Kuturan, Palakkad, Vijayamangalam, Perundurai, Trichengode (Trichcode), Salem, Bhavani, and returns to Coimbatore. The journey offers a mix of vibrant rural landscapes, lush farmland, and bustling towns, making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts looking for both scenic beauty and a physical challenge.

Highlights of the Route

The stretch from Coimbatore to Pollachi is particularly scenic, featuring views of the Western Ghats and passing through coconut groves and agricultural villages.

Passing through Palakkad and Vadakancherry, cyclists encounter green paddy fields and occasional hilly terrain.

Towns like Perundurai and Salem provide urban breaks amidst the rural journey, offering logistical conveniences such as food and lodging.

The return from Salem via Bhavani brings riders along the banks of the river and through the historic temple towns of Tamil Nadu.
