Bekal - 1200K LRM

One more signature 1200K LRM in preparation for LEL 2025. The route is scenic, challenging terrain, navigation very key in forest stretches, weather, climbs, rolling terrain and few places road conditions

80% of the roads are in good condition, remaining 20% is slightly rough or bumpy of which 5% is very bad due to recent monsoons.

Kadur (300 Km) to Manipal (500 Km) will be critical stage 1 on Day 2 with narrow deserted roads and limited options for food / hydration. Navigation is important.

Udupi to Thalassery - 200 Km along the coastal highway will be humid with winds. Navigation is key at few junctions.

Thalassery (750 km) to Madikere (950 km) 200 Km will be critical stage 2 on Day 3 of the ride with 4000 mtrs elevation, beautiful roads passing through tea estates, forest areas, few places bumpy, narrow rolling with steep descend & ascend. Availability of food & hydration is minimal.

1 drop bag with max 5kg / person will be accessible @ 600km (Night 2) Mangalore & 900km (Night 3) Virajpet. Shower, Bed, Food & Hydration available for riders at these Control points.

Food, snacks & Hydration will be available at manned CP and critical points along the forest path.

No Mobile network in forest areas.

All finishers within 90 Hrs. will be awarded Bangalore Randonneurs Bekal signature Medal

Bekal 1200K is highly challenging & demanding ride, kindly go through *Route Specific Instructions* before proceeding to payment.

Initial Registration Fee of Rs.1000 to be paid now on Audax website

Balance fee Rs.5000 to be paid on Goals.Fit by 20-12-2024 before 4:00 PM

Registration closes today 20-12-2024 at 8:00 PM or as soon slots fill up, whichever is earlier.

If the rider fails to pay the balance fee by 20-12-2024 by 8:00 PM, then their registration will be cancelled without any refund.

The brevet fee includes:
- 2 Dropbag points 600km & 900 km with Bed / Shower / Food & Hydration.
- Manned CP with Food & Hydration.
- Homologation & BR signature finisher medal
