Estimate of the GOH2024 - Trail

80% of the roads are in good condition, remaining 20% is slightly rough or bumpy

18% of the route is on NH (4- lane) {0km to 25Km} {200km to 211km} {1023km to 1204km}

82 % NH & SH (2-Lane) countryside roads few places road works in place

Critical & Challenging Sections

Day 1 - Climb to Yeracud (220 to 240Km)

Day 2 – Climb to Ooty via Conoor (430 to 490Km)
Rolling terrain and Downhill to Gudalur till 545Km
Heavy rolling terrain : Gudalur – Kalapetta – Periya till 675Km
Steep Downhill till Nedumpoil – 12 Kms
Day 3 - Climb to Perumbadi – 17Km from 725km to 742Km.
Highly rolling terrain from 742km to 956Km
Day 4 – Easy terrain with light rolling from 956km to 1205Km
Limited mobile network on hills.

Weather will be very cold in nights; especially on Night 2 & 3. Day will be warmer and humid. Expect dense fog at places early morning.

2 Drop Bag Points, first at Kalpetta (600Km) second at Anemahal (900km). Bed / Shower, Food & Hydration available at Drop Bag locations
Snacks / Hydration at alternate CP

Food, Snacks & Hydration will be made available at critical points at remote deserted sections on hills wherever possible at Yeracud, Ooty, Wayanad, Coorg, Sakleshpur.

Any Homologated 1000Km BRM or 1200+ LRM starting from 01 January 2021 till 31 October 2023

Being eligible to register does not guarantee participation in the event. The slots are limited and the rider will have to register for the event when registrations open

Requests for slots after closure of registration will not be entertained

Kindly register only if the you are certain to participate in the event, do not block the slot and withdraw later, keep in mind that you might be denying another rider an opportunity to ride.

Unqualified rider's registration will be invalidated and the registration fee will be forfeited
There could be minor changes to route and CP after final recce is completed. The final route & CP points will be published latest by Jan 5, 2024.
