Lucknow Randonneurs 200 Centenary BRM on 12 Sep 2021

100 years of Audax,
100 years of Adventure,
100 years of Endurance....

Which started as a small group of riders coming together seeking an unusual experience turned out to be a global phenomenon today. Its not just a centenary of brevets but also inspiring & motivating 100s of distinguished cyclists across the globe coming together on this momentous occasion.

Come lets get-together to augment this Centenary Ride in 'Nawabon ke Shehar Lucknow' with same fortitude dedication & true spirit of Randonneuring.

On Sunday, September 11, 1921, the Audax Club Parisien held its first brevet (BRM) on a 200 KM circuit from Paris - Dreux - Chartres - Paris. Twenty-Six brave randonneurs and randonneuses earned their first brevet that day.

On Sept 12, 2021 we at Lucknow Randonneurs are celebrating 100 glorious years of Randonneuring !!!

A once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of this symbolic event and earn the SPECIAL CENTENARY MEDAL.

Randonneuring is long distance Endurance Cycling with rides of 200, 300, 400, 600 and 1000 kms called Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRMs). Participation in randonneuring events is part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of the sport of cycling in France and Italy.

The route is subject to change if the circumstance demands, the information about which will be updated 24 hours before the scheduled start of the event.
