This is one of the most scenic routes of Odisha covering Hindol - Narsinghpur and Athgarh forest ranges, which is predominantly populated with Elephants.

Please be aware of Elephants as the route runs through several elephant corridors. There are two major climbs of Grade-5 level in this route.
1st Climb: Stretch 17KMs with an average ascent of 1.3% starts at 146.5KM mark and ends at 163.5KMs inside Hindol-Narsinghpur Forest Range.
2nd Climb: Stretch 5KMs with an average ascent of 0.9% starts at 167.5KM mark and ends at 172.2KMs mark.
