1200-km BRM ("Outdoor to Indore") on NH3

Mumbai-Nashik-Dhule-Indore-Dhule-Nashik-Mumbai

Start (Control Point 1):
Airtel Gallery, Hallmark, Marathon Avenue, L.B.S. Road, Mulund West
Time: 6.00 am, Saturday
[Report by 5.00 am to complete the formalities in time.]

Control Point 2 (153 km):
Dwarka Circle, Nashik
[Unmanned Control] Go under the flyover. The road to Dhule is straight ahead; but take a detour - turn right at Dwarka Circle, around 100 metres ahead, swipe your card at any of the ATMs on the right hand side (you have to cross the road); then return to Dwarka Circle and take the Dhule road.
Time: 4.12 pm, Saturday

Control Point 3 (306 km) [Rest / Sleep Halt]:
Gurudwara near Hotel Walchand Bapuji, NH3, Dhule.
This is near the highway itself; just before you enter Dhule. A few kms after the Dhule Toll Booth, go under the flyover, cross the underpass (subway) on your right, and you'll see the Gurudwara on your left.
Time: 2.24 am, Sunday

Control Point 4 (486 km):
Hotel Foodie, Dhamnod
This is on the outskirts of Dhamnod. At the fork just before Dhamnod, take the left road. Within a couple of kms, on your left, is Hotel Foodie.
Time: 2.24 pm, Sunday

Control Point 5 (601 km) [Turnaround Control Point]:
Nandan Kanan Hotel. On the left side, Indore-Dewas Bypass Road, NH3. After getting your brevet card stamped here, proceed to Hotel Infiniti in Indore, which is the night halt
Time: 10.37 pm, Sunday

Control Point 6 (896 km):
Gurudwara, Dhule
If Unmanned (for any reason), then go to HDFC or SBI ATM, opp Vitthal Hospital Dhule, 2 km inside Dhule, after turning left after the Gurudwara.
To go to the ATMs, go under the flyover, turn left after the Gurudwara; about 1.2 km ahead is a fork (with a water-tank tower on the right). Take the right-side road; do NOT take the left-side road (which goes to the railway station). In less than a km, you'll see Vitthal Hospital on your right. Opposite the hospital are the ATMs.

Control Point 7 (1049 km)
Dwarka Circle, Nashik
[Unmanned Controle] Go under the flyover. The road to Mumbai is straight ahead; but take a detour - turn left at Dwarka Circle, go around 100 metres, swipe your card at any of the ATMs on the right hand side (you have to cross the road); then return to Dwarka Circle and turn left to take the Mumbai road.
Time: 1:35 pm, Tuesday

End-point (Control Point 8) (1202 km):
BOB ATM, L.B.S. Road, Mulund West
[Unmanned; swipe your card at the HDFC/ YES/ SBI ATM.]
Time: 00:00 am, Wednesday (Midnight, Tuesday night)

Compulsory:
- Helmet
- Headlight
- Red taillight
- Reflective vest
- Rider number on front and rear of bike,
- Debit card / Credit card (for swiping at unmanned control points)...
If any of these is missing, you may not be allowed to ride... so before leaving home for the start point, ensure that you have all these with you...

During the ride:
- Keep your brevet card with YOU at all times (not even with a fellow-rider)
- Keep your brevet card and ATM slips safe from damage (from water, sweat etc). Damaged cards or slips may not be accepted, and your entire ride may go waste!

After successfully completing the Brevet:
To ensure that your results are homologated...
- Send an FB message immediately to Anil Uchil​, with the finish time (time-stamp on your final ATM slip), and the ATM time-stamps for all the other unmanned control point. Your FB message should reach us within 24 hours after the Brevet ends.
- Courier your brevet card and ATM slips immediately to Anil Uchil (B-105, Marathon Cosmos, LBS Marg, Mulund West, Mumbai 400080). Your brevet card and ATM slips have to reach us within 72 hours after the Brevet ends.
